Two major Interstate Highways serve the city:
Interstate 20: It is popularly known as "Ronald Reagan Memorial Highway". It is a major east–west Interstate Highway located in the Southern America, and runs east from a junction with I-10 east of Kent connecting the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and Louisiana near Waskom, Texas. The auxiliary route of Interstate 20 in Texas is Interstate 820, which spreads across 35.2-mile and loops around Fort Worth.

Interstate 30: This Interstate Highway is nestled in the southern United States. This Interstate is also called "Tom Landry Freeway" between Interstate 35W and Interstate 35E. Serving only two states in the nation, I-30 originates from Interstate 20 west of Fort Worth connecting northeast via Dallas, Texas, and Texarkana, Texas, to Interstate 40 in N Little Rock, Arkansas. It runs parallely to U.S. Route 67. Interstate 30 also intersects with Interstate 35 W, Interstate 35 E, Interstate 45, Interstate 20, and Interstate 40. I-30 is , within the core of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

It connects the campus of University of Texas at Arlington to a commuter rail station located in a business park which is south of Dallas/Fort Worth airport.
